First 1998 M maybe....but consider the following,

The 98 US M has yellow lenses, these are clear

The 98 US M doesn't have headlight washers

The 98 US M shipped with a blank gauge (no voltmeter, maybe this one was added later)

This looks like a hybrid of a Euro and US version.

Can you call it a legit US version if it has options not available in the US?
