Milano weighs in at roughly 2900lbs a Z3 with 2.8 and power top is probably close to 3100lbs-give or take. Second, how did you get 57hp out of just "scams and an electronics package, and headers" I removed the Cat of my Zagato- and installed a straight pipe, bored out the engine, added high compression pistons, blueprinted and balanced the engine, added a Massive two-barrel carb with K&N,racing cams, headers, etc and pumped out about 140-150Hp (about 50hp gain)- if I was lucky! There is no way you got almost 60hp out of the simple mods you made. Forget what the brochures say, dyno your engine! But if you did, how is it a fair match. Both cars are performance oriented. ALL alfa's IMO- milano included had exceptional suspension setups so handling wise they are comparable and rigidity wise, the Milano, being a sedan, is more rigid. Also, the Z3 is giving up about 60hp. That's not fair at all for the Z3- a better race would have been an M roadster with 240hp vs your milano- but we both know how that would have turned out. Now, assuming for a moment that your mods only amounted to about a 20hp gain. O.K, then we have a milano with roughly 203HP vs. a Z3 with 193hp, all things being equal, your Milano posts about .82 on the skidpad on rolling stock vs .87 for the Z3 2.8, takes over a second longer than the Z3 to get to 60mph and almost six seconds longer to reach 100mph (16sec v 22sec), braking distances and slalom speeds both go to the Z3. So, if your car has 203hp and you beat the Z3 it has NOTHING to do with the performance of your machine but of your mastery of it when compared to your opponent.

P.S.- myself and BMV are the resident defenders of alfas on this board but you just came here flaming like you just won the Indy 500. So, it wasn't a big deal until you came onto a Z3 board talking trash. You came here to flaunt your Alfa, I think you should be prepared to defend your claim, don't you?
