yes use of the windscreen was was a decision I had to make when we put the covers on. I didn't want to put a mark on them. So far I haven't missed using it. Frankly they look so good I didn't want to cover them up. November is upon us and the cold wind is now a factor so I may take the roll hoop covers off for the winter season and reinstall in the spring. Wouldn't think in LA you'd need a windscreen very often. Damn those colored hoops look good, and black and yellow would look even better IMHO. I think of the interior / exterior combinations yellow / black looks the best after Jon's touches.
