actually in all fairness to alfa's failed north american campaign, alfa I think never intended for americans to own alfa, everything from interior design specs to maintenance requirements. You'll all agree that Americans like a turnkey car the they can beat the shit out of and never service ...having said that,alfa failed in the us market because of poor management not poor design, I do have a nifty set of tools and my milano runs like a charm and is as reliable as my moms vw passat, or my dads toyota...but than again I'm very aware of servicing schedules.. I guarantee that a BMW engine will blow first in a torture test against an alfa every time...So in agreement with you reputation is earned, but you gotta admit BMW simply has better marketing people, they made BMW a total yupee status symbol made a ton of money and now they're strong in this market, Alfa hasn't managed their company since day 1 (100 years ago..) but yes the original flame bait was exactly that..even a ten year old alfa can smoke a new z3, its true and no matter how hi on your horse you are this insecure troll is right..
