I've never owned a vehicle which was not properly maintained. I seriously doubt there is a improperly maintained Z3 owned by anybody on this board. Your comment only demonstrates how far you have your head inserted in your rectum.
I never said you did, or that bmw's are not maintained properly. GENERALY speaking, Americans have never really been "into" maintenance. domestic cars up until perhaps recently had a 100K life and are "disposable" to a degree. where as european cars ie mercedes, bmw's, volvo's, Alfa require more attention (that AVERAGE [NOT YOU])americans just weren't/aren't into giving. lighten up....I never intended that post to mean that bmw owners/you don't maintain cars..q tips work pretty well maybe you should clean the wax out of your ears.
...but than again I'm very aware of servicing schedules..
Yeah, rebuild engine every 10k or when needed, whichever occurs first.
now thats a purely emotional (read weak) response,
I had an 83gtv6 that had 300k miles and it saw 6800 rpms everyday and is still running today.
...they made BMW a total yupee status symbol
Further demonstrates point number one regarding your head.
again emotional. It's true that BMW is a status symbol: financially challenged people do not buy beemers. Its a compliment Enstein. BMW is good at doing business and marketing cars.
..even a ten year old alfa can smoke a new z3
I smoked a Milano just the other day with a Chrysler minivan, pulling a boat. He couldn't even catch me in the twisties. Now tell me where the Alfa board is so I can be a troll just like you.
here's the difference: the above statement (yours) is not true, its a feeble attempt at humor. the comment above that (mine) actually happend. don't be bitter, just buy a 13 year old alfa if you want a well engineered car that can spank a beemer.
