I would think that would fall under the same area as breaks, tires, shocks, bulbs all wearing out.....this are things that are normal wear and tear. I personally can't see a warranty on the wear and tear of something....however, I have been impressed with what BMW does offer.

Doesn't hurt to ask, thats for sure.
