Well at least they did on mine. I have a '00 M and was getting scratches on the drivers side wing next to the door. It was unusual wear because I never had studs on my pants or wore a belt when I got in or out of the seat. They agreed to replace it but only once. At the same time the stitching was coming out around the rear window so they replaced the top also.
