The spray-on foam that you let dry and then vacuum out. After cleaning off the first 4 months worth of gunk from the top, I sealed it with Starbrite (marine canvas waterproofer). Top still leaked on us last week in a torrential downpour, but not because of penetration of the top (clogged drain hole at top of A-frame was the culprit I think).

Use the boot cover whenever you've got the top down and the top will stay much cleaner. I only take ours off when my wife takes the car since she doesn't like to deal with it. otherwise, i don't put the top up unless she's in the car and shivering (or if it's raining, but then that's what our other cars are for...)

I've got a beige top. Yours is black, no? I haven't heard as many complaints about dirty black tops. Guess the previous owner really treated it like crap, huh?

I got the outside of the car taken care of (man I love Zaino) but what I'm a little leery of is cleaning the convertible top of this thing. Whoever owned it before us didn't take too good at taking care of this thing since there is slight mildewing....I'm a little anal when it comes to the cars, so may of you probably wouldn't see it until you were right up on the car.

Anyways....what would you guys use to clean your tops....and also, what do you use to water proof them as well (if you treat them for this at all).

Thanks for all the help.
I'm driving the hell out of this car guys....loving it....just loving it!
