Seems to be the nature of the beast. My suggestion is to clean the car and either use paint sealant or wax the rims, thus the dust comes off easier. Try downshifting more often instead of braking. Don't know why, but I feel like there's so much brake dust, that I'm suprised the brake pads last more than a few thousand miles before they turn into thin little discs.


That is the one thing I have noticed. I can drive the car one day and actually see the break dust accumulation on the wheels.

I have some stuff that will help out, but I haven't had time to apply it.

Is this normal for the pads installed from the factory?
