I think this is a problem with all European sourced cars. and further thought that this was due to the not being able to use Asbestos in brakes anymore.

The good news is that the pad should last nearly as long as the old brake pads.

The real anwser is however (as already stated) to move to Green Stuff. Little dust and better braking.

I would have thought US cars have the same brake pads made out of the same material as European cars on the assumption that you can't use asbestos either and why go to the expense of Kevlar or ordinary cars?
