I remember thinking when I saw the rear diff that I wouldn't be able to use that as a jack point because it looked like an alloy housing. Maybe I'm thinking of a different car, but if it is alloy, you seriously risk cracking the housing. Better and safer to use padded jack stands next to the factory jacking points.
