It works well, but after a while, it became a little looser and sometimes the quick "grab" of the steering was interfered with the thumber. In addition, it looks like an afterthought, and I took it off because of the "dumb look" factor and that the controls on the radio are only about a foot farther away. If anything I might have the thumber mounted to the side of the seat out of sight because the controls on the thumber were much easier to use without looking.

Anyone have (and use) the Blau Thummer Remote with the Toronto receiver? I thought it was a gimmick, but my loaner was an E46 328 with the steering wheel controls, and I LOVED controlling the volume, station select, and CD track from the wheel. Very natural and safe. Considering the much bumpier, stiffer ride of my Z3, something like the Thummer makes even more sense than in a luxo car. Does the Thummer work as well? Any problems or gotchas?
