I certainly understand your need for easy entrance and exit. But wait...did you drive an X5?
You do have to step up a bit, but I find it easier for the age challenged than bending down to get in, which will be the case with the Audi. I have a 4.4i(Sport) X5 and it is fantastic. It is really something you have to drive. On occassion I have to take my 80 year old mother around and the wide opening doors are very convenient. Yes, Ruth has to step up to get in (not too much of a problem) and step down (more of a problem), but the X5 is VERY roomy.

What? You don't want a big fat gas hop stink'n SUV Wannabe? Just drive it. It's all BMW. And drive it hard.
