I first had the 40 series FlowMaster. I thought it was way to loud. I looked at the FlowMaster web site and found they had the 60 series designed for 4 and 6 cyl imports. Had my muffler guy order one. Resonance is not as bad, but it may still be a bit loud. I like it, and if you're familiar with FlowMaster, you know there products are designed for performance. Good luck.

When she first wanted the z3 I hated the idea. I have been a Mustang guy for over 9 years now (three total) so I just knew I was not gonna be happy with this car.

WRONG!

After driving it all weekend and getting to play with it lightly (rainy weather) I'll be 100% honest with you....if I didn't have my 95GT and about $7-$8K in parts waiting to go in....I would have my own z3...

I love this car!

Thats why I'm looking for light mods to do to this thing...I wanna do some exhaust, but obviously my wife will freak if I take her car and make is sound like a "race car"...lol...so I need to find something that is free flowing, yet relatively quiet.

Has anyone done like a 3 chamber flowmaster? I know they are not that loud until you get in the gas....
