Supposely he was calling you about your rating on serivce, I am pretty sure the man was just dialing whatever the number show on their system, I don't think he should have idea where the company get all the numbers from.
Now of course you have the right to ask for his supervisor right away, but maybe he felt you were over-reacting and gave him a hard time first, thus he wouldn't give it.

To me this is really no big deal. Just my 3 yens.

You use a computer, you buy things over the phone and internet, you give to charities you have savings and bank accounts and retirement plans,your employer has all the goods on you, you have numbers of credit accounts including house notes, rents, car notes, your kids school info, your pets vet, your spa or pool or pool hall or pub where you hang out, and on and on and on. Do you really think that your caller id or cell phone or office phone used for personal reasons does not get logged into any number of hundreds of data bases making it harder to track you down? Get real, Grow up , just suck it up and be glad you are alive to drive your baby in 2000! Get some heartburn somewhere else.
