a fluid coupled limited slip diff. Instead of having racheting parts inside, the clutch packs are coupled with a fluid that keeps the plates locked until a certain shear load is applied (slip). I would think axle ratio would have no effect on weather you have an open, std, or viscous LSD in your car.
