merger, it really was a takeover. I agree about the two diferent cultures. It will be interesting to see how MB tries to dump Chrysler if indeed they try to buy BMW. Speaking as a BMW enthusiast, I can see no good coming out of such a transaction for me. Sooner or later MB will stick it's nose under the camel's tent with regard to research and commonality of units, and I fear BMW will lose its individuality.
