of course, last weekend I bought a 330i and the very next day the sales person called, before we left the dealership he stressed that anything other than "excellent" is a failed rating, and asked that we fill out an evaluation on the spot. I guess as a test to see what we would rate them as.

I think the whole rating system has dealers too concerned with their scores with BMW than actually giving good customer service.
