after 8k miles with a strong strut on my 00 2.8 (archive)

I've read so many things regarding strut braces my eyes are crossed. I've yet to find a web site unbiased opinions as to the benefits and drawbacks of each. I'd love to hear from those of you who have installed them. I drive a `98 2.8 with no performance options and have often sensed the Alfa Romeo type of front end shimmy on rough roads, RR tracks, hard turns, etc.

What did you put in? Why did you choose the brand you did? What did you pay? Did it do the job like you thought? Where did you get?

i can say it's worth the 325 i paid. I've also done the software,cai, custom exhaust.
prior to pickup at the postoffice i ran a bumpy road...after incredibly simple installation i reran the same road..there was a slight improvement in front end shake..at high speeds on normal roads it's hard to tell..but there is a slight feeling of more stability..(i have the 17in package) also, it looks good .
a minor point. For the price I would do it again...good luck
