I realize that but have you ever tried to put your top up or down in stop and go traffic? It becomes a juggling act with clutch,brake and gas peddle. I know not to raise or lower the top at speed so the brake interlock would not be missed......Mark


Not sure but you only have to be lightly touching the brake for it to work which is a good reminder not to be going to fast. So you can be rolling while putting the top down.
