top, or gently lay it back? I know I used to, in the beginning, get out blankets, make sure all the wrinkles and dirt are gone, and then slowly lower the top. Now I just sit in the drivers seat and unlatch the top, and throw it back. This could be a real bad thing to do in cold weather...we don't get really get cold here, just wet. I can't think of the candy bar name....but remember how if you tried to pull it apart, it would just bend and stretch....but if you hit it on the table it would snap into pieces. Probably the same for your window.


Many times I start working on something and realize I need a new part on Saturday morning.
Or I get in desparate need for a part like rearwindow, cuz I get the urge to drop the top in really cold weather, to prove a point to someone only to end up providing a good laugh instead!
I have not had a problem previous winters, so I am not sure why it cracked. I had planned to replace the window this coming spring, previous owner kind of mistreated the window.
I also dropped the top kind of fast, that might have had something to do with it too.

Anyway, there is not a dealer in MI that have their parts department open today, Saturday ;(
Now I have to wait until Monday to get my window replaced
:(
Weather better stay nice, it's top down driving...
