I was worried about it, since I was too lazy to take it in for the 1st Oil Service 'til 9,545mi. However, after reading here that BMWNA allows Scheduled Maintenance with one light or less, I made sure to take it in for Insp. I, 2nd Oil Service just as soon as the 4th green light went out; permitting Insp. II before 36K mi.
Sorry that it doesn't do you any good now, but, if you're planning to continue w/ Insp. I & II, shop around. Quotes in CA seem to range from ~$250-$750.
Alternatively, have you thought about getting a reset tool from Peake Research? $150. WAY overpriced, of course, but it's kinda cool. Especially, for resetting the CEL.
