I'm not sure what you mean by this. The prewire connects the changer to the headunit. The speakers are not involved.

There are two locations for a changer, one just in front of the right tail light assembly and the other below the left trunklid hinge. The connector was originally at the taillamp location but may have been moved towards the other point.

I can't imagine why anyone would actually cut off the connectors. I believe the CD changer is actually made by Alpine. You might try a high end Alpine dealer/installer shop. They may have the connectors and/or be able to come up with a suitable replacement.

If this doesn't work, call a junk yard. I think Paul posted the contact number for the junk yard that has his totalled 98MZ3.
