What, no cones?!!?! You've got to push that car! ;D I think we're probably upsetting some on the board just by the thought of Auto-Xing a Z3.
I haven't seen any at the events I attended.

Nope, no tips, just learning by doing, lot of friendly advice, but hard to take it all in in the excitement of the moment. Managed to avoid all the cones this time, always got a good coat of wax on. Isn't that a pre-requisite for being on this board?? LOL

The SCCA book doesn't specifically have the 2.3 listed but does have "all 6 cylinder Z3s".

I have to agree with you, Auto-X is a blast! I did my first in October and my second in November. The ability to push the car to the limit and use a sports car the way it way intended is great.

I'm running in ASP because of my air intake and sway bar mods. These mods are great for everyday driving but put me up against some stiff competition in Auto-X.

Did you pick up any tips or tricks? Other than upping my air pressure and other tips, I would suggest getting a good coat of wax on the car before your next event. This helps cleaning off "Close Encounters of the Cone Type".
