I opted for the mesh screen. I have the center storage compartment between the seats. If you have the plexiglass screen installed, then you can't acces this compartment. The mesh allows access. Also, when you want to put the top up, you can easily unzip the center section of the mesh for an unobstructed rear-view.

The other thing is the large velcro straps on the plexiglass. I think they're too noticable.

Of course the downside is looking through the mesh, instead of clear plastic. But, I'm very happy with the mesh.
