When I bought my Z3, I had the dealer add the mesh windscreen. It works okay, but I didn't like the reduction in rear visibility, and the top "strap" seemed to be in the worst possible spot.

I recently upgraded to polished stainless rollhoops and went with the clear windscreen. I like it much, much better. It deflects the wind better, improves stereo sound (somewhat), and it barely noticable... in fact, the top edge of the windscreen makes it look like a fine string is tied between my roll hoops... barely noticable.

I don't have a storage compartment, so it doesn't interfere with anything, and I only take it off to clean the rear window.
