the question was worth, probably. Still, I did NOT find anything equivalent (even remotely) to the Bentley service manuals. Found a number of E36 references of course, but dated prior to the MZ3 coming out.

I am sure that hidden in all of that is individual specific service information, but for those of us NOT running a car repair business or whatever, a plain simple BOOk would be great...and that does not seem to exist...law or no law. If it is mandated that information must be available, and it IS, but in such a convoluted and complex (and tedious) format as to be virually inaccessible, and prohibitively expensive if it can be found...then I am sure the letter of that law was met...but it does make one wonder about controlling legal authority! (O:}
