BMW has consistently under-promised and over-delivered. They quoted the same numbers for the new M3 and it has been tested (twice) at 4.8 seconds to 60MPH. The new M3 is at least .4 seconds faster to 60MPH and there is no reason to think this will not hold true for the new MRoadster as well. Remember, BMW quoted something silly like 5.5 seconds for the US MRoadster before the magazines tested it at 5.1 seconds...then BMW adopted that number. No worries, the new MRoadster will be worth the price increase!
