For some time now it has taken a great deal of force to secure the top on the driver's side while there is never a problem on the passenger's side. It feels as if I push any harder I will break something. Probably need to visit my dealer but maybe someone can save me the trip. Am driving a 9 month old 00' 2.3 with power top.

Thanks - TomC

If it is the same problem we had after the new top install I had to make the adjustments myself as the dealer didn't know how.how
The latch screws into the top and is held fast with a set screw. Just take the set screw all the way out and turn the latch out one turn
at a time till it is easy to secure. Don't forget to put the set screw back in once your done.
