put the various upgrade plans on hold for a while. Get the car, and drive it as much as you can; start to get the feel for it. You may decide that the 2.8 is plenty of performance for you. OR...you may decide that it just needs better wheels/tires, or better suspension, or you may just want to get the redline bumped up a bit.

Chances are that decisions you make now, before even having the car, will tend to be different that those you make a few months from now.

Maybe the best thing to do is just bank the $$$$ you have available now, towards future upgrades. You can do the whole Dinan badge thing for around $4k...and that takes your performance up as far as you can short of T/C or S/C. If that is where you eventually want to go, you'll get there quicker by putting off some of the changes that are only for looks. This car is not one to compete with the Accords and Camrys and Cougars and Escorts in the boyracer beauty contest. It looks magnificent right out of the box, and runs that way too. You just have to decide where you want to put the $$$, and you don't have to make every decision BEFORE you even have the car.
