Hey, alright, I will be getting myu 97 2.8 in a couple days (hopefully...or on the wknd when i come home from college) but here are the things i am going to do with the car.. tell me if i am on the right track alright?.. (I actually need help b/c u guys and girls no what ur doing..)
FIRST: Protection.. I am getting a noah car cover, weather tech trunk liner, and some bav auto sport or bmw floor mats.

SECOND: Sound and slight visual changes... b/c the car does not have chrome tips, go out and buy them and install, i want to put on a 2.8 badge. b/c the 97's are devoid of them.. and break caliper paint.. (all of those things are relatively cheap and easy to do.. so they are the first things.).. Sound wise.. i want to pop in some new speakers, still thinking about getting a bazooka tube... (i don't want a car that wakes up the neighborhood, but i want to hear good music).. (after january.. clear headlights.. and clear tail lights)

THIRD: ROLL hoops.. in between college and working at my part time job i am saving up for those and plan to install b4 spring .. or mid march..

FOURTH: Interior fully: Change dash readout (speedo.. and all of that) to Ac Schnitzer silver gauge face. Foot pedals all AC Schnitzer.. AC shift knob.. and short shift kit..or momo shift knob..

FIFTH AND FINAL: performance... well that will take years.. so.. tell me if i am on the right track for stuff.. the first 2 will be done when my dad signs the papers to the car.. so after that.. i need some ideas on where to go.. HELP ME OUT!

Dan for performance upgrades you might consider changing the exhaust. I saw a ///MCoupe the other day with MagnaFlow cat back. Only cost $400 for the ///M for a 2.8 should be about half that. It was all SS. Sounded great...better than any other I've heard add a Fogg air box and you could have some very cheap performance gains.
