Forgive me if this is completely obvious, but it took me a couple of months to figure it out: when you latch the top, do you drop the windows? On our 2.3 it's almost impossible to get the second latch closed if the windows are up.

I'm going to take a look at Teachum's suggestion about the set screw myself...


For some time now it has taken a great deal of force to secure the top on the driver's side while there is never a problem on the passenger's side. It feels as if I push any harder I will break something. Probably need to visit my dealer but maybe someone can save me the trip. Am driving a 9 month old 00' 2.3 with power top.
