Not sure on the later models, but it is strongly recomended that you never latch the top with the windows up. On the earlier models, by doing so, the roof would be more prone to leak in the top corner section where the roof meets the front. Once the leak starts, you're sunk. Always lacth the roof before the windows go up. One helpful hint.


For some time now it has taken a great deal of force to secure the top on the driver's side while there is never a problem on the passenger's side. It feels as if I push any harder I will break something. Probably need to visit my dealer but maybe someone can save me the trip. Am driving a 9 month old 00' 2.3 with power top.
