I disagree with you on the Noah cover.
>Noah cover? Can't imagine a college kid using it, right intention, wrong execution, you'll use it, oh, 5 or 6 times then decide too much trouble, too much trunk space, "damn, car is dirty, can't put a cover on a dirty car", yada, yada, yada.
I agree that a full cover has the right intention. But the wrong execution? You are assuming this kid is going to be too lazy to spend the extra 30 secs it takes to cover the car completely. I have it down so it takes me approx. 30-45 secs to put my noah on. That really is not too much time. How much of a time savings is that over the Z3 Solutions? Over the life of the car, how much would it save the paint to not be exposed to the sun and trees and everything else? Also, I wash my car with total regularity. Meaning that my car is never too dirty to put a cover on it. BTW, isn't that the reason to keep a full cover on it all the time it is exposed to the weather anyway (except rain, snow, etc.)? The only thing I can agree with you upon is that it does take up a lot of room in the trunk.
>A Noah cover is for weekend driver cars or garage queens, certainly not a daily driver.
So you are saying that I bought the wrong cover for my car since I drive it daily? What is your proof for that statement? I drive my car daily and use it for all of my weekend driving. If I am going to the store for 5 minutes I park way off in the lot. If I am going to the mall and intend to stay there most or all day I use my noah cover. It really only takes me 30-45 secs to put it on. I chose the full cover over the Z3 Solutions because I wanted to protect the paint/finish from the sun and smog. It is harsh here in SoCal and so is the sap from trees. I have to park it outside everyday. So considering I intend to keep the car 7-10 years, it made sense to me to use a full cover.
