coming out of parking garage. I didn't realize the curb dropped down THAT far. Wonder if the dealer has touch up paint. I bought a new civic this year (for one of the kids) and got a small bottle of matching paint with the car (free).
You can't see the scrape unless you get under the front air dam, but things like that bother me. Call me anal.

I had a bad scratch on the drivers side rocker panel below the door. I did it with a rivet on the Levi's while installing a custom pedal set. I wiped it good with a degreaser and filled the scratch (deep, about 32nd of an inch) with the application of BMW touch up paint. I just kept filling it with paint over a period of about 3 days until it was a convex blob and then let it harden for a few days. I used a small piece of 800 grit sandpaper, wet, and sanded down the blob until it blended with the adjacent paint. Then I rubbed it out with white buffing compound on a rag using just the tip of my finger. Following that I waxed it and the flaw is almost invisible even up close. This was expermental on my part but now I would not
hesitate to use the same procedure when needed.
