My 2000M (with a grand total of 3000 miles)
won't start. Just a clicking with a lot of
flashing lights. I trickle charged it for 24
hours, still nothing. I jumped it to my
Dodge truck per owner's manual and advice
from my dealer, same result.
My dilemma: Do I call Roadside Assistance and
have it towed to my nearest dealer? Trouble is
he's 60 miles away and I didn't buy from them in
the first place due to bad reports about their
service and I didn't like their operations when I
was pricing my car. The dealer I bought the car
from says if I can get it there they will replace
the battery no problem, but they are 100 plus miles
away. When they tow do they put it on a trailer?

Any suggestions for getting it started on my own?
Thanks, Hal

I had trouble with the first 01 I bought. The roadside assist. said the car would be hauled w/ a rollback type hauler. It was with no problems.
I would let the dealer worry about it. Sometimes
you can make things a much bigger problem unless you are like Shawn Fogg ,one of the real BMW experts on this board.
