Mike, I can't do it myself, and maybe others on the MB can explain it better (or check the archives), but as I understand it,it's a method used primarily when shifting during a race or autoxrossing to maintain the engine rpm's to match the shifting points of the transmission while at the same time braking. It is done by using the toe of right foot to brake while at the same time 'bliping'the accelerator with the heel of the right foot, all at the same time as you are shifting. It's too much for this old body to understand or do, but that's the way I understand it. If I'm wrong I'm sure someone will point it out to me.
