Sounds like the rental agency owner was referring to the new M Roadster which will go into production in early spring with the Euro hp version engine.

I just returned a 2.8 that I rented in LA for a few days to help me decide if I should purchase a Z3. The owner of the rental agency told me to wait until March to purchase a Z3 because of a rumored larger engine. Has anyone heard of an engine bump-up coming in a couple months? I torn about trying to get a good deal at the end of the year versus waiting until spring time.
