area we have "formulated" gas. This summer I took a trip to Oklahoma City where they have straight petrol...using 91 octane premium "non-formulated" gas my butt dyno told me the straight stuff was worth about 5-10 horsepower, even at the lower octane. Be glad you aren't forced into using this crap if you're lucky.
