I thinks an illusion. The wheels have the new chrome shadow finish of similar to the M5 and M3.

compare them to the depth of the ones on the Coupe. IMO, the roadster rims and tires look MUCH wider/deeper dished than the coupes. The coupe looks like my former M roadster, but the new M roadster rims look much deeper with rolled back star spokes? Is it an illusion or a photographic anamoly?
