when the radio code has been entered incorrectly 3 times in a row. After that you must wait for one hour before it will reset to the code ----- so that you can enter the number. If you switch the radio off or disconnect the power you will have to wait another hour before you can set the code as the wait period will reset. If this doesn't fix the problem, then you will have to see the dealer because something is actually wrong with the radio or your code is incorrect.


I just recieved a 2000 BMW Z3 2.3L Roadster as a graduation present from my g'ma and because she is getting older she wanted to see me have it. So I got it two years before I'm due to graduate. Anyway I am having trouble getting the radio to work. It constantly stays in the "CODE WAIT" mode. It doesn't change over to the "CODE -----" display. I was wandering if anybody here knows what the problem is and how to fix it. The dealership won't be open until tues. becasue of new years and I would like to listen to my radio. Any help would be appreciated. Also it is the "premium" Hardon Kardon sys. Thanks.
