Both alarms probably work well. The advantage of the UNGO is if you plan a DIY installation, you can get the most detailed instructions and help from the MB and you can buy the UNGO for ~ $150 or less on ebay. If the dealer installs either alarm, it will cost you way more if you care. Does the Viper have dual zone radar adjustable from the remote? This is the best feature of the UNGO that few other alarms have.
