I don't know and don't care if you and CYT had any history, but on this issue alone, I am with CYT 100%.

I know this is a BMW forum, but it's also a car forum at the mean time. I for one like to hear some technical stuff about cars in general. I appreciate CYT's input on this issue, of course I knew it already, but if I didn't, I don't want to read wawutit's post, then go around and tell people woah BMW does this and that, and having people who know about cars look at me like an idiot and say what are you talking about Honda has been doing it for a long time.

If wawutit says my new born baby is so cute, and CYT replys big deal I have see many cute babie, then yes that's raining on someone's paradise.
In this case, it's absolutely not. He was sharing some technical info about cars and automakers, which was correct. He also said why it works that way, instead of making a blank statement. He never said BMW engineering is bad either, I don't know why you were interpreting his post the way you did.

Anyway, there goes my two cents on the issue. I suggest you just chill up and take a drive or something.
