I am pleased with the result. I did not use a polyester doubler on the back side of the seam because I don't think you need them on a shift or e-brake boot. If you look really close you will notice the needlepoints of the outermost seams are not perfectly coincendent. They are paralell to one another, but not coincendent. Maybe no one on earth cares about this but me. The factory gets perfect seams because they have sewing machines with twin needles. Then they get a perfect, coincedent line of stitches on both sides every time. I don't have $3500 sitting around for a used machine yet, but I think these are close enough. Unless your eye is 4" away from the seam you cannot tell.

This one and it's matching e-brake boot are shipping to ChadH tomorrow.
