We went downtown this morning to do some shoping. We were out for about 5 hours and we saw about 30 BMW's (various models from 318 to 750il, including Z3's). The common thing that I noticed is that about 75% of the BMW's that were seen were absolutely filthy. Now I'm not talking about not washed for a week or two - this is more like hasn't seen a wash since November. I would be completely embarresed to drive my car if it hadn't been washed for 1 week if it had rained even once.

I want to point out that I don't feel this way for those of you who live in climates where the temperature prohibits regular winter cleaning but in the Vancouver area there is no excuse for this. Worse, today was sunny and pretty warm so it just made a dirty car look all the worse.

OK, I feel better now.
