I am talking about INSUDE the shock. I got this information from Ground Control. I asked them if I could lower my car a little more (with a shorter spring) and they said it might not be possible because I had bilsteins.

My car is lowered like 1 inch or so (with my setup). I got about a 1" gap between the tire and the front fender. I would like to have .5" gap.

If I had a chance again, i would go for the konis'

internal bumpstop which prevents further lowering. You are probally riding on just your bumpstops right now... I am in the same situation!

Hmmm. There was a rubber disc in the OE shock which I transferred to the Bilstein, but that slides freely on the shaft. It shouldn't impede the shock piston. Are you talking about something internal to the shock body? Have you taken your car out? Did the car drop at all ?

I'm thinking right now, that these are going back where I got them and I will go with Konis. I bought this set up for handling and lowering and as of right now there is no lowering. I will post the results when I get the Konis in.
