2001 M Coupe on display at Houston Auto Show (archive)

Spent the early part of Sunday afternoon down at the Houston Auto Show. The Steel Gray 2001 (preproduction), M Coupe that has been making the autoshow rounds was on display. The Boston Green M Roadster that appeared in LA was absent. However we were graced by the new M3, the new M3 Convertible, and of course the obligatory M5 and Z8.

One of the sales reps claimed the new M Coupe would do 0-60 times in less than 4.5 seconds. I've also heard from the dealership rumormill here in Houston that we can expect to see both the new M Coupe and M Roadster in showrooms by mid year to early Fall. And, from the sounds of it, we will see the coupe before the roadster.

Now, if I could just figure out a way to get some more cash!!
