Baden, Let me try to read between the lines??? Is her objection that you're spending too much time on the Z or is the real problem that you're not spending enough time with her?? Could you spend some more time with her by cutting out pesky time user items like work?? That way you could still have max time with the Z. Perhaps another idea is to make her think you're spending more time with her when you're really cleaning the Z...example...take her to a movie and in the dark slip out and polish for an hour...if you come back in before they bring the lights up she may never know you were gone.
