Rick -
The first you've gotta do is to stop worring. Second is to find a Sherwin Williams AUTOMOTIVE SUPPLY store. No, not the house paint store - it's under "Body Shop Supplies - Wholesale" in the yellow Pages.

(1) Buy a can/bottle of "PreoSol" and apply it as directed - it will remove all wax and silicone from the finish.
(2) Buy a bottle of either a 3M or Dupount LIQUID product that is designated as a 3000 GRIT GLAZING coumpound.
(3) Buy a 9" Orbital Buffer (Sears works) SERIOUSLY

Apply the glazing coumpound (after the PrepSol application) using the orbital buffer and according to the directions. When it says "continue to material breakdown" - do it - that means when the liquid turns powder.

Whipe clean and look - the milky film will be gon forever. Repete this over the entire surface using your hand ONLY where the buffer can't reach.

Wax USING THE BUFFER (never your hand unless you love the "swirl marks" it causes) with Meguiar's carnuba wax. Buff with ....you guessed it... THE BUFFER. You will have a fine finish.
