I wanted to buy Folia Tec but couldn't find it locally. So, I went to performance products in Van Nuys and bought their Caliper Paint Kit by G2. It comes with cleaner, enamel paint, hardener, and a brush. The cleaner is just brake cleaner and the paint hi-temp enamel. It seems to me I could have saved some money had I bought the components seperately from Pep Boys. But prepackaging brings it's own comfort level (and instructions). Be sure to really scrub the calipers with a wire brush before painting.Matt
After seeing a posting the other day about using door molding to "chrome" the lower grill, I went to Pep Boys, cut the strups and pushed them on. The grill of my '98 1.9l is different than the previous poster's car but it works just the same. And for $3.99 not bad...

Saturday, I tackled the biggest project to date. I decided to paint the calipers red. Having little to no experience taking wheels off cars, I must say I learned a lot. Let's just say I'm a little sore today from all the lifting and stooping.

I think they look good though.

Let's just hope this rain in LA goes away.
